Cranachan

Here’s a recipe for Cranachan using Stag’s Breath Liqueur:

 

Ingredients:

 

75g (2.6 oz) rolled oats

300ml (1 1/4 cups) heavy cream

3 tbsp Stag’s Breath Liqueur

4 tbsp honey

300g (10.5 oz) fresh raspberries

Extra raspberries for garnish

 

Instructions:

 

1. Toast the oats: Heat a dry frying pan over medium heat and toast the oats, stirring frequently, until they are golden and aromatic. Set aside to cool.

2. Whip the cream: In a mixing bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form. Fold in the honey and Stag’s Breath Liqueur gently until combined.

3. Layer the dessert: In serving glasses, layer toasted oats, raspberries, and the whipped cream mixture. Repeat the layers until the glasses are full.

4. Garnish and serve: Top with a few fresh raspberries, a drizzle of honey, and a splash of Stag’s Breath Liqueur for an extra kick.

5. Chill briefly: Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
